The renewed Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna Hämeenlinna reopened after a major renovation, offering guests a modern, warm, and functional hotel experience. As part of the renewal, the hotel implemented Elena’s Easy Lite internal communication system, bringing a flexible and intelligent way to communicate within the hotel – from reception to guest rooms and meeting areas.

With the Easy Lite solution:

Guest rooms were equipped with WiFi-based wireless phones featuring preprogrammed quick-dial buttons for direct access to reception, room service, and other hotel functions.

Reception and service staff use a mobile application, enabling quick response and guest communication even on the move.

Meeting rooms were fitted with dedicated phones, allowing meeting participants to easily contact the meeting coordinator, reception, or catering services with a single touch.

The meeting coordinator also uses the Easy Lite mobile app, ensuring they are always reachable and can respond to requests in real time.

Hotel Director Jani Aaltonen and Hotel Manager Tiina Helenius were actively involved in the planning and implementation. Jari Kauhanen and Kimmo Vainio were responsible for providing and delivering the service to the customer, while the Elena technical team, led by Petteri Järvinen, handled the installation, programming, and commissioning.

“The cooperation with Sokos Vaakuna’s team was smooth and focused. It’s great to see how Easy Lite now supports their daily guest service and operations,” says Jari Kauhanen from Elena.

The system has been in operation since late August – and feedback has been highly positive.
