In 2024,Hovi decided to modernize its hotel TV systems and network infrastructure, bringing all systems under centralized and unified management. Cloud-managed TV and network systems provide Hovi with centralized visibility and remotemanagement capabilities.
“I caneasily see from the interface if a television in any room is offline — itappears in red. Most issues can be resolved remotely without visiting the room.With a total of 131
rooms, this functionality is extremely important,” Ignatius explains.
By eliminating physical room telephones and the required PBX infrastructure, Hovisaves €12,000 annually. At the same time, the hotel has gained newopportunities to develop additional services and enhance the guest experience.
